Coaches Bio

  • Coach Reyes is the Director of Operations and Recruiting of Hammers Lacrosse (formerly Evergreen Lacrosse) who helped launch the Virginia program back in October 2014.
  • Reyes was a former Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach at NCAA Division II Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina for three years. He primarily worked with the offensive unit which finished #9 in the nation for shooting percentage in the shortened 2021 season. Over the past three years, the Royals have compiled an 25-11 record, was ranked as high as #8 and made the NCAA Tournament in 2019. The 2021 and 2022 seasons were both shortened due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.
  • Throughout his coaching career, from youth, high school, and college, he has mentored hundreds of young men and women who have gone on to play, study, and succeed at numerous NCAA programs across all divisions. Reyes is also extremely proud of all of the All-Conference, All-Region, All-State, All American and Bob Scott selections he has coached over the years.
  • Coach Reyes was a two-way midfielder at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, Virginia for 3 seasons where he also served as team captain. Reyes was also a NCAA Division III student-athlete at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia where he was a midfielder for the Captains from 2011-2013 before launching Hammers Lacrosse full-time in 2014. He was also a member and Team Captain of the Philippines Lacrosse Association (PLA) which is now recognized as the Philippines National Team that finished #10 at the 2018 World Games.
